Rhizome is an architecture office founded in 2011. Our practice originates in the Nordic region, which defines much of our aesthetic and design approach – minimal, grounded, sensitive, bold. Still, we exist and live beyond boundaries – geographic, disciplinary, and typological.
We work across scales and contexts – from tiny cabins hidden in the woods to reimagined cityscapes. Our expertise lies in the fields of hospitality, housing, creative reuse, and public architecture, with a focus on modular, prefab, and mass timber construction. We develop spatial formats for contemporary living – where work, rest, social life, and solitude are not separated but intertwined and constantly evolving.
Architecture, for us, is a way to comprehend reality. With every project, we reevaluate established views and challenge conventions to create spaces that reflect the needs of today while staying relevant for the uncertain future. Our work is inseparable from the social, cultural, and environmental conditions that shape it.
Rhizome is led by its founding partners Eugeny Reshetov and Tatiana Sinelnikova. Their work has been recognized for both its conceptual clarity and built quality – from award-winning designs to quiet, lasting spaces that shape everyday life. Each project is developed through dialogue, shaped in close collaboration with clients, context, and team.
We are constantly looking for talented team members and if you aspire to be a part of Rhizome, feel free to send your portfolio via email. If we are on the same page, rest assured, you will hear from us
